Our Website Goals
Help Keep Our Park Area Safe
We launched a letter-writing/email campaign to convince the Yukon City Council to vote against any commercial/retail access from Frisco Ridge Road. If you haven't participated, please do. the land now has a for sale sign on it.
The Developer's master plan proposes two new streets for customers to access future businesses across the street from our park/soccer fields/playground. We see this as a major safety issue for our children playing there are for families who walk or bicycle in this area.
In addition, this will encourage people accessing these businesses to travel through our neighborhood to enter or exit from our Vandament entrance, creating safety issues on several of our other streets.
Please check out the special page on this website, located under the Frisco Ridge Documents menu. There you will find a downloadable template that you can customize as well as a map and contact info for the City Council.
