History of Frisco Ridge
In 2005, the original developers of Frisco Ridge, Tim Smith and Butch Curry, under the business name of Lone Oak Ridge, LLC., began working to create a new subdivision just outside of town and they worked hard to make it a reality. Rick Opitz became the developer a few years later and continues to be the developer here.
Several Oklahoma builders have built homes at Frisco Ridge. Phase I builders included Tim Smith, Montgomery Homes, Ron Walters Homes, Greg Smith Homes, Turner & Son, D R Horton, Jerry Shelton and Songbird. Nearly all of the homes in Phase II and III were built by Homes by Taber, and those homes were completed in 2021.
