Can't Commit to an Ongoing Project? We Have an Idea for that!
We understand that busy people can't always commit to doing something every week or every month.
That works, too.
That works, too.
- Help a committee with a one-time project like planting flowers or hanging Christmas lights.
- Help with event set-up or help with clean-up afterwards.
- Manage the grill at a cookout.
- Decorate your house for 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas.
- Participate in a neighborhood work day. Past workdays have included building the playground, trimming trees and clearing brush, putting mulch in the playground area, planting trees and shrubs, installing new street signs and more.
- Volunteer for a special, one-time project like building a park bench, planting a tree, picking up litter, repairing playground equipment, helping a neighbor remove a dead tree...
- Donate something we can use: a tree or shrub you don't want, a park bench, a bicycle rack, birdhouses, fountain maintenance, fold-up chairs for events...
Participating is Fun
