Our by-laws were developed when the Frisco Ridge Homeowners Association (HOA) was established in 2005. These by-laws cover the business of operating the HOA:
Election of the HOA Board of Directors
Establishes a requirement for an annual meetings of homeowners
Delineates the 30-day required notice for annual meetings
Requires The HOA Board to hold meetings at least annually
Outlines the powers and duties of the directors and the requirements for record keeping
Authorizes the Board to manage HOA assessments and liens for non-payment
Authorizes the board to acquire insurance, hire contractors, sign documents
Describes the duties of the officers of the Board, by position
Defines the term Board Directors as one year
Establishes a process to fill Board vacancies due to resignation and/or removal
Gives the Board the ability to establish committees
Requires the Board to provide access to Frisco Ridge homeowners of HOA records
Outlines the process for amending by-laws as needed, over time
