Frisco Ridge Amenities

The extras that make your time at home more enjoyable.

Let's Play!

Picture
As a Frisco Ridge resident, you and your guests have a great playground available. With slides, rings, swings, even swings for small children, it's sure to be fun. In 2019, we added a sidewalk down to the playground to make it easy to access the park with strollers and wheel chairs. We ask that parents be present and park rules be followed.

Hoops Anyone?

How about a game of basketball? With two standard b-ball hoops and a big cement basketball court, it's game time.

Birdwatching

Picture
Frisco Ridge is a great place to watch birds. Ducks and geese enjoy our pond. In the common area behind Branch Line, and in the wooded area in Phase III, many kinds of birds can be spotted: blue jays, cardinals, wrens, geese, crows, robins, mockingbirds, finches, sparrows, hawks and other birds of prey. Every May, a pair of Mississippi Kites can be observed sitting on a big dead tree branch. An occasional owl makes an appearance.

Is Biking Your Thing?

If you like biking, the streets within our subdivision where homes aren't under construction is a good option. There is also the street system behind our subdivision that has very little traffic at this time. For more experienced bikers, riding down Highway 66 toward El Reno offers an enjoyable ride.

Bike Rack at the Park

We installed a bike rack at the park to help you keep your bike safe and in good shape.

Is Soccer Your Game?

Picture
Our large soccer field offers lots of room to practice shooting the ball or to play a game. Play is limited to residents and their friends on a recreational basis.

A Stroll or a Run, Anyone?

Picture
We have an extensive sidewalk system within Frisco Ridge, so you can easily meet your step goal or just take a relaxing stroll. The area around the soccer field is kept mowed and also offers a nice place to walk laps.

Wildlife Viewing

There is also a large common area that starts near the playground and goes back behind Branch Line Rd. It's a great place to spot wildlife; if you're lucky you might see a rabbit, a wild turkey or even a fox. Raccoons can be spotted throughout our subdivision at night.

Rules for Use of Frisco Ridge Soccer Fields, Basketball Court and Other Common Areas for Outside Team Play:

  • Children who live in Frisco Ridge are always welcome to play and practice on the fields, basketball court and other common areas.
  • A maximum of three organized teams with outside players will be allowed to practice on our field/court/common area in any given time period, and each team is limited to two practices per week.
  • There will be no team parking on the street by the park.
  • The Board is responsible for approving all activities conducted in Frisco Ridge common areas.
  • A written request to use the soccer field, basketball court or other common area for outside team use must be submitted to the Board. The teams will be considered in the order the requests are received.
  • The Board will issue a four-month permit and reserves the right to revoke the permit for any reason (Reasons include but are not limited to misuse of equipment, damage to fields, improper parking.)
  • For an outside team to be considered, the coach and at least one child on the team must live in Frisco Ridge.
  • The soccer field is large enough for two teams to practice at the same time, and for other children to play on the field at the same time as a team is practicing, so courtesy is expected if this occurs. Only one team can play on the basketball court at a time.
  • These rules and all approved team practices will be posted on the Frisco Ridge website.
  • These rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Frisco Ridge HOA Board.
