LIVING IN YUKON

Yukon: A Great Place to Live

Yukon. It feels like a small town, but it offers so much more than the typical small town of its size.  Plus, we're just a few minutes from Oklahoma City and Lake Overholser and all they have to offer.
Yukon is a city in eastern Canadian County, Oklahoma, United States. It is part of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. The population was 22,709 at the 2010 census. Founded in 1891, the town was named in reference to a gold rush in Yukon Territory, Canada, at the time. Wikipedia  The current population had grown to 40,854 in 2019, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Chisholm Trail Park and City Park Join to Provide Tons of Fun

Chisholm Trail Park has several tree-lined walking trails (paved and un-paved) sledding from Boot Hill, ponds, a beautiful gazebo and plenty of places to sit and relax.  These trails tie into the trails at City Park. Part of Christmas in the Park takes place at both parks. The Chisholm Trail Park gazebo hosts the Freedom Festival concert and Concerts in the Park.
