We Need Your Help to Stop Commercial Access from Our Subdivision
We are hoping that with many homeowners sending letters to the Yukon City Council that we can make a change in the proposed plan. There is more information below including the proposed plans and a template letter to help you get started on your letter. Our goal is to send letters during the month of April. Will you help?

Reaching Out to the Yukon City Council
We are encouraging Frisco Ridge homeowners to contact Yukon's City Council about the proposed development shown above and express your concerns. (If you attended the Feb 3 Annual Meeting. you will remember the discussion.) Please consider sending a letter to your City Council member(s) requesting that all access to this rezoned commercial area be from either Highway 66 or Frisco Road and not Frisco Ridge Road.
Our Biggest Concern is Lots of Vehicles Turning In and Out of the Office Buildings and Retail Outlets Off Our Frisco Ridge Rd
We are particularly concerned about the proposed development along Frisco Ridge Road--across from our soccer field, our playground, basketball court and the area around our pond. Also, we are concerned about a significant increase in thru traffic going out of Vandament Ave, which will impact the safety of kids playing and people walking.
While we cannot stop the actual commercial development around us since the City is depending on the sales tax income and three years ago, they approved the rezoning from residential to commercial, together we can get changes made to minimize the impacts.
Letter or Email to Your City Council Member: Start from Scratch or Start with Ours
You are encouraged to either develop your own letter or use the template letter (below) and make changes as you see fit.
Imagine the impact we can have if our City Council receives lots of letters about this issue. Together, we can make a strong statement about eliminating commercial access along our street (Frisco Ridge Road) and ensuring the safety of children in our neighborhood.
